I spent most of the day cleaning up my PC. Not much else todo – weather was kind of crappy and my options are (still – agh!!, damned arm!) limited.

I also took the time to upload a few new photos from a recent trip and our woes with our front yard. My absolute favorites are in their own folder. I’d love to hear what you think about them.

Tomrrow is a pretty special day. First, I’ve got an appointment in the AM to see what the deal is with my arm. I hope I can talk them into a new cast. We planted our garden on Saturday and I helped (probably more than I should have) out. As a result, my cast is filthy. Serves it right – I hate it. Secondly, I will be able to wear pants to work. My road rash is clearing up exceptionally quick, so I won’t have to wear shorts anymore. Good thing – I was frozen all last week.

As you can see, my typing skills are getting better to0. I haven’t responded to my email yet, but thanks to all of you that have sent your wishes about my arm (and the CIRA fiasco!) my way. I definitely appreciate you taking the time out to send me a note letting me know that you care!!

Today marks day 2 of my summer vacation.

Today I will voluntarily be fighting through one of the most stressful events a human can experience.

Today, we're moving into our first house.

I already have a few stories to pass on, but I think it will have to wait until we get slightly settled into the new place (or I sneak back to the office for a few moments ;)

The moving team will here in roughly 2 hours, and I have to leave to pickup our moving truck in about 90 minutes.

Its pouring outside. This should definitely be fun.

At least its not snow.

Then again, I've never seen snow turn a cardboard box into a pile of goo causing the contents to drop out on the ground.

Not everything was a hassle today.

After much hunting and searching and re-hunting and dealing with a pretty irrational housing market, we finally bought a house.

Mark August 1 on your calendar - you want to be out of town, otherwise you might be helping me and Amanda move. :-)
