I have an alibi, I'm not in the country (Canada, that is). But it sucks - it's happened to me, too.

Why couldn't they just take the whole van? Bright side: I now have duct tape and can begin working on my purse...

you know, we could always trade vehicles.... your nice van for our beat up eyesore.... no one would want to break into ours, and we could really use a van!!

It happened to me too. The worst part was that the cops asked us not to move the car so they can come over to make a report... meanwhile the dickheads came back and took whatever they could under the hood.... that means almost everything! So I bet it's the same dickhead who came back.

Hmmm. Just arrived in Toronto. Want to give me a hint as to where I shouldn't park my car? (I expect it will spend most of its time in the basement parking garage of the hotel...)

Just keep it away from mine and I expect that you'll be fine.

On second thought, park it right next to mine and you'll have a perfect decoy.
