Who reads these weblogs? Nobody! Maybe fellow weblog authors read each others weblogs out of a sense of desperation...the feeling that if they read someone else's weblog, someone will read theirs. It's kindof like cooperative advertising too, people will cross-post, linking weblog entries to each other's weblogs.

I love reading things like this. It reminds me how much people just don't get this stuff. Or at least, get things in the sense that I've gotten them.

To me, asking who reads weblogs is exactly the same question as asking who reads email. Of course, the answer becomes quite self-apparent in this light. Who reads these emails? Maybe fellow email authors read each others emails...

This time he's uncovered the evil plot behind Trackbacks and completely a) missed the point, b) completely misunderstood how they have been implemented and work in an everyday context c) missed the point and d) stared making stuff up about Google in order to keep his ratings up.
