Ross: I dunno. Yeah, it doesn't work with JournURL any more than with Blogware... but so what? Generic tools will always be generic tools, unable to fully exploit the host environment. If you've got five different blogs on five different platforms, they're fantastic. But that's not how most folks operate.

In contrast, look at some of those amazing little LiveJournal clients that cater specifically to the server's unique capabilities... that's the really good stuff, IMO.

I hear you, but given that we fully implemented the MT/Metaweblog API (and the Blogger API) ... ecto should work with Blogware.

It really doesn't make sense that it doesn't.
