I spent most of the day cleaning up my PC. Not much else todo – weather was kind of crappy and my options are (still – agh!!, damned arm!) limited.

I also took the time to upload a few new photos from a recent trip and our woes with our front yard. My absolute favorites are in their own folder. I’d love to hear what you think about them.

Tomrrow is a pretty special day. First, I’ve got an appointment in the AM to see what the deal is with my arm. I hope I can talk them into a new cast. We planted our garden on Saturday and I helped (probably more than I should have) out. As a result, my cast is filthy. Serves it right – I hate it. Secondly, I will be able to wear pants to work. My road rash is clearing up exceptionally quick, so I won’t have to wear shorts anymore. Good thing – I was frozen all last week.

As you can see, my typing skills are getting better to0. I haven’t responded to my email yet, but thanks to all of you that have sent your wishes about my arm (and the CIRA fiasco!) my way. I definitely appreciate you taking the time out to send me a note letting me know that you care!!

Fences-beaches-2005-04-24.thumbI had every intention of doing a podcast this afternoon. I had a great one lined up. But, as fate would have it, it just wasn’t in the cards. Instead, I jumped on my bike around 11:00 this morning and blew off about 60km over the next couple of hours…

Walking-beaches-2005-04-24.thumbI had the entire rest of the afternoon to do my thing, but instead of dropping a podcast down, I went for a walk at the beaches with my new toy (I picked it up shortly before I went to Argentina). Anyways, I posted two shots from my journey to Opticandy – let me know what you think!

…and please accept my apologies about the podcast.

I've uploaded some of the more decent photographs from my recent trip to Gnomedex - you can check out the series here if you are using a web-browser, or here if you are using an enclosure aware aggregator (neat eh? We've had the feature for almost a year :)

I've got some more, but I'm being totally lazy - maybe I'll get them uploaded tonight.

I finally got around to going through the last 200 or so photo's that I took in Rome during the ICANN meeting last week and uploaded them to my Rome album here on Blogware. There are quite a few pages of photo's in the album and each thumbnail is clickable and leads to a higher resolution photograph.

None of these have been retouched, I'm just not that ambitious. Enjoy and let me know what you think...

We had some time yesterday afternoon after the public session of the board meeting so a few of us went on a tour of the Coliseum and the Pantheon.

Photo's here...

Had a great dinner with some great company last night. Afterwards, we walked off some of the pasta with an informal night tour of the Spanish Steps and the Pantheon.

The ICANN meetings are *almost* over...

I've added some more photographs to the Rome album...
