Of course, this synergy won't be around for long if the community doesn't settle on one API.

[..and speaking of Flickr, we've cleaned up our UTF-8 goofiness and it now works like a charm with Blogware via those same APIs...]

hmmm just tried it and I am still seeing problems with MetaWeblogAPI on Flickr (Flickr complains about invalid userid and password)

BloggerAPI works though (with the same userid and password)

Please check it out!

The fine folks over at Ludicorp have told me that this isn't a problem with Blogware and/or Flickr, but rather that its a problem with the metaWeblog API spec. They also mentioned that they are aware of this and working on a fix, but no ETA is forthcoming. I'm going to try and dig a bit deeper to see if I can work the problem from this end...
