I forgot to mention this when we fixed it a few weeks back - Blogware is no longer arbitrarily truncating RSS 2.0 feeds ;)
Still no resolution on whether we're going to axe 0.91 support or not - I mean, its harmless enough, but I'm wary of providing too many options to non-technical users.

Too many options

Did you see my second comment on your previous post on RSS 0.91? Can you explain what response you're anticipating from the user on this? I don't get it.
I think that the only people who are ever going to notice how many options there are in this drop-down menu are the people who already know what RSS version they prefer. And if they don't know then the number of options is not what is going to confuse them -- but even that's not a problem when they can just leave it as it is. How is this different from any other blogware option? There are hundreds of options and most users won't touch 95% of them. This is the beauty of Blogware. All you need to know is how to fill in a form with the article title and content and learning how to do anything else is entirely optional BUT just about any option that the user might want is available. The only people who are going to notice whether RSS 0.91 is an option are the people who want to use RSS 0.91. If you're worried about too many choices, you should be eliminating features entirely. The option I imagine that some users might want upon learning of the existence of RSS, is "How do I turn that off all together?" -- is that a possibility? Re: RSS De-Decapitation

"If you're worried about too many choices, you should be eliminating features entirely. " That's precisely what I'm thinking about. "The option I imagine that some users might want upon learning of the existence of RSS, is "How do I turn that off all together?" " Only if they've wandered into a flame-war on rss-dev or something ;) That might just turn them off altogether. As far as the question goes, the answer is no. Might be something to add - which is what I'm trying to avoid ;) (adding stuff I mean) Trackbacks
